Barely few weeks before the semi final matches of this season's FA Cup hold at the Wembley Stadium, Al-Qaida bosses have ordered 'Lone wolf' jihadists back from fighting in Syria to target British sporting events such as Wimbledon and FA Cup matches.
The aim should be to create "maximum carnage", says the evil terror group. It recommends they become suicide bombers or use explosives linked to a timer or a remote control device.
The call comes in a new edition of Inspire, an English-language online magazine for al-Qaida supporters.
It points out that attacks can kill many people at high-profile sporting events which are attended by "tens of thousands" of fans. Wimbledon and top football matches at Wembley are named as possible targets.
Inspire boasts: "They have worldwide live media coverage. The best time is after the final whistle when crowds leave the stadium and celebrate round the entrances."
But the No 1 target is the Queen, 87, who attends the Derby at Epsom in Surrey each year with Prince Philip, 92, and other royals.
The hate-filled article also tells its deranged readers to kill British expatriates and tourists in the Dordogne in France, crowing: "Hit two birds with one stone – English and French."
A Scotland Yard spokesman admitted they knew of the article but said "appropriate steps" were in place to protect sporting events.
