Thousands of people gathered at Chwele market to witness the cut, while a local law group had to step in to control the ecstatic crowd that gathered to witness the incident.
The incident brought about a frenzy on social media sites, as Kenyan users commented on the incident using the hashtag: #GoCutMyHusband.
