A video clip uploaded on YouTube February 9 shows people scrambling to grab the alleged 500-dirham cash bills, which are worth more than P6,000 each in Philippine pesos.
The video uploader did not say when it happened, but a report on Tuesday from the United Arab Emirates'The National news website said it occurred in Al Murqab area's Al Soor Street, in Kuwait City.
Police arrived to restore order, but authorities have yet to explain the incident -- or where the money came from.
