Sanusi ascended the throne last year June after Emir, Alhaji Dr. Ado Abdullahi Bayero passed away.
Sanusi's grandfather was the Emir of Kano before the later Emir, Ado Bayero.
The coronation was just an official ceremonial ritual as he takes the oath of office as the New Emir of Kano.
Many dignitaries were present at the coronation, including the Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau who is the Sardauna of Kano.
