Paris Jackson was only 11 when her father Michael died in 2009 and suddenly, she was thrust into the spotlight. Two years later, depression and possibly even a suicide attempt sent Paris to a therapeutic boarding school. She has had a tough couple of years, but Paris Jackson's life looked to be very much on-track when she was spotted exercising in a Calabasas, California park on Saturday.

The 16-year-old daughter of late pop star Michael Jackson recently returned to her family's home near Los Angeles and was spotted looking so beautiful, happy and excited hooking up with her personal trainer.

Late last year, the news that 'Girlie O' crooner has a 10-year-old boy trended heavily on social media and graced the covers of some soft sale magazines.

The speculation went viral after the Abia State born music act, shared a picture of the lad on his Instagram page.

The dancehall act consistently shared pictures of the little boy, 'Raphael' on his social media pages. The striking resemblance between them makes many believe Patoranking already has a son.

Clearing it all, in a recent Twitter interview, Patoranking was asked if Raphael was his son, and he responded saying, "he is my youngest brother and No, I don't have a child."

Meet Mrs. Olayinka Adeyemo, The Heavily Pregnant Lagos Keke Driver

$

Mrs. Olayinka Adeyemo.
It was a surprising sight to behold a heavily pregnant woman, Mrs, Olayinka Adeyemo working as a tricycle (keke) rider in Lagos.

According to Storried, the first time you meet Mrs. Olayinka Adeyemo in her tricycle (keke), what quickly runs through your mind is, how does this woman cope in a business exclusively reserved for men by society? It is widely known that Lagos is known for rough drivers who break all traffic rules at will especially when ‘keke’ riders are added to the list.

However, Mrs Adeyemo has put aside all these, and has shown that what a man can do, a woman can do way better….actually not just a woman, but a pregnant woman! The pregnant keke woman made it known that she is a graduate and it was all in a bid to make ends meet and not stay idle that she took up the tricycle business. Read excerpts from the interview below:

Please madam, how did you get into this keke (tricycle) business?

“My brother, I’m a graduate, but rather than stay idle coupled with the responsibility of taking care of my young family, a friend of mine encouraged me to take-up this business. First, I got this tricycle through a hire-purchase arrangement from this friend, but now it’s mine because I’m done with paying up the cost of the tricycle.”

How does it feel operating in a man’s world?

I don’t feel any different. I’m working and the men are working too. The difference is that I get more considerations from bus-stop touts who milk us of our earnings because I’m a woman, and when they see my protruding tummy, they just let me be.

And your condition?

“I’m only pregnant. I’m not sick. Yes, I’m often tired, but this work is all I have to contribute to my family economy and meet my personal needs”.

And your husband?

“He‘s been very supportive and my children and family members know this is what I do for a living and they respect me for that”.

Are making a lot of money?

“I wouldn’t say a lot of money, but it’s better than staying idle, and waiting for my husband to do everything for me.”

Well, the next time you see Mrs. Adeyemo; it could be with her baby strapped to her back or at a corner of the motor-park breastfeeding her baby. What that means is that in today’s world, all the barriers have been broken. And women have no excuse!

Husband In Tears After Wife Flees With Kids To Join ISIS

A mother has fled to Syria with her two young children to join Islamic State, Daily Mailreports.

Rehana Begum Islam abandoned her husband of 14 years, vanishing overnight with her eight-year-old son and three-year-old daughter.

The 33-year-old travelled from Heathrow to Istanbul on February 14 and then took an internal flight to Gaziantep, a city on Turkey's border with Syria.

She is believed to have been helped by a Syrian who was arrested last week on suspicion of getting three east London schoolgirls across the border.

Her passport details were found on his laptop – showing she and her children have been with Islamic State fanatics for five weeks.

Mrs Islam's devastated husband Azizul says he has not stopped crying since police revealed she had travelled to Gaziantep, a popular gateway to Syria for foreign fighters and jihadi brides.

"It's really hard for me," said the 36-year-old minicab driver on Saturday night.

"I haven't seen my kids for more than one month. I can't even sleep without my kids. My question is why did she go there? She has two kids, she has a family, and this house is in her name. Why has she left everything? This is really unbelievable.

"When the police told me she travelled to Gaziantep – I've seen it in the news, so many British people are trying to travel there – it came into my mind that maybe she's gone to Syria but still I can't believe it."

Turkish intelligence sources revealed her ID documents were found on the laptop of Mohammed al-Rashed.

He was arrested on suspicion of helping Shamima Begum, 15, Kadiza Sultana, 16, and Amira Abase, 15, become jihadi brides in Syria.

All three attended Bethnal Green academy in Tower Hamlets.

Al-Rashed, 28, is said to have told detectives he has mainly helped British fighters but also South Africans and Australians. The details of two other Britons, aged 19 and 29, were on his laptop.

Mr Islam said: "He must've also helped her to get there. I'm worried about my kids, I hope she comes back with my kids. Please. She's going to destroy my two kids' lives.

"IS is killing Muslim people as well. My religion doesn't say anything about killing people. If you're Muslim you should know that the Koran doesn't say this. These people are dangerous."

The Bangladeshi-born father said he had no idea how his wife, who suffers from depression, had become radicalised.

He did not know that the former RBS clerk posted frequently on Facebook about Islam. But he said she spent a lot of time on her smartphone.

Mrs Islam took her laptop with her when she disappeared. Her husband added: "If I knew anything I would do everything to stop my wife, especially my two kids. I do everything for my kids since they were born. I look after the kids like I'm their mother.

"I play the role of mother because my wife can't handle them sometimes. When I married her she wasn't religious, she was like a normal girl, she didn't even cover herself. But a couple of years ago she started covering up and praying five times a day."

Mr Islam, who works nights in Enfield, north London, said he suspected his wife was missing when he came home in the early hours.

"I couldn't see anyone in the house but most of the weekends she spends at her sister's house, it's not far, it's round the corner," he said.

"I tried calling her big sister but she said she wasn't there. We called her friends, relatives and made phone calls, but no one knew so we called the police. The police told me she took a flight from Heathrow to Amsterdam, and from Amsterdam to Istanbul. When they found out that she flew to Gaziantep maybe then they thought she went to Syria. I don't have any clue."

Turkish intelligence sources said British authorities did not inform them that Mrs Islam might be travelling to Syria until February 23 – nine days after she landed in the country.

Turkey has faced criticism for not controlling its border with Syria, but has accused European states in turn of failing to prevent would-be jihadists from leaving in the first place.

There are increasing concerns about the growing numbers of young people being lured to the war zone in Syria and Iraq. Security services estimate that more than 600 Britons have gone to join militant groups since the explosion of violence in the region began.

They include 22 women and girls who have travelled in the past 12 months, many of whom wanted to become jihadi brides.

A few days before Nigeria's general elections are set to hold, United States President Barack Obama, has called on Nigerians to shun violence and express their views peacefully.

In a video released today by the US Embassy in Nigeria, President Obama conveyed the message to the Nigerian people to highlight the opportunity that the upcoming elections presents for them to stand together in rejecting violence and extremism and instead show their support for a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous future.

He said, "Nigeria is a great nation" adding that "you can be proud of the progress you've made."

"Together, you won your independence, emerged from military rule, and strengthened democratic institutions. You've strived to overcome division and to turn Nigeria's diversity into a source of strength. You've worked hard to improve the lives of your families and to build the largest economy in Africa."

The U.S President said, "for elections to be credible, they must be free, fair and peaceful", adding that "all Nigerians must be able to cast their votes without intimidation or fear."

"I call on all leaders and candidates to make it clear to their supporters that violence has no place in democratic elections—and that they will not incite, support or engage in any kind of violence—before, during, or after the votes are counted. I call on all Nigerians to peacefully express your views and to reject the voices of those who call for violence."

Obama also did not fail to call for the safe rescue of the more than 200 kidnapped Chibok girls by Boko Haram.

Read the full transcript of the video below;

Hello. Today, I want to speak directly to you—the people of Nigeria. Nigeria is a great nation and you can be proud of the progress you’ve made. Together, you won your independence, emerged from military rule, and strengthened democratic institutions. You’ve strived to overcome division and to turn Nigeria’s diversity into a source of strength. You’ve worked hard to improve the lives of your families and to build the largest economy in Africa.

Now you have a historic opportunity to help write the next chapter of Nigeria’s progress—by voting in the upcoming elections. For elections to be credible, they must be free, fair and peaceful.

All Nigerians must be able to cast their votes without intimidation or fear. So I call on all leaders and candidates to make it clear to their supporters that violence has no place in democratic elections—and that they will not incite, support or engage in any kind of violence—before, during, or after the votes are counted. I call on all Nigerians to peacefully express your views and to reject the voices of those who call for violence.

And when elections are free and fair, it is the responsibility of all citizens to help keep the peace, no matter who wins. Successful elections and democratic progress will help Nigeria meet the urgent challenges you face today. Boko Haram—a brutal terrorist group that kills innocent men, women and children—must be stopped. Hundreds of kidnapped children deserve to be returned to their families. Nigerians who have been forced to flee deserve to return to their homes.

Boko Haram wants to destroy Nigeria and all that you have worked to build. By casting your ballot, you can help secure your nation’s progress. I’m told that there is a saying in your country: “to keep Nigeria one is a task that must be done.” Today, I urge all Nigerians—from all religions, all ethnic groups, and all regions—to come together and keep Nigeria one. And in this task of advancing the security, prosperity, and human rights of all Nigerians, you will continue to have a friend and partner in the United States of America.

Christopher Ezekiel, who is currently being investigated by the Lagos State Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba over the death of his facebook lover, Adekemi Faboro, has revealed how she died.

Recounting the incident that led to the victim’s death, the father of two said this was actually the second time he was visiting her house in Lagos.

He said:

“I met her online sometime between September and October 2014 on facebook and we began to chat. Early this year she came to Sagamu to visit me and she spent two days with me. She actually came on Friday and went back to Lagos on Saturday.

“I have an apartment where I work in Sagamu but my wife and children live in another apartment in Ibadan. I came to see her in Lagos around first week of March where I spent the weekend with her. This was the second time I visited her.

“On that fateful evening, we went out, spent quality time together and later retired to her apartment and slept.

“At about midnight, she began to complain about headache and then she started coughing. She coughed for a long while. It was when the coughing persisted that I had to go and knock on her next neighbours’ door to help me locate a nearby hospital, since I am not familiar with Lagos terrain.

“So with the help of her neighbours, we went to a nearby private hospital (names withheld). After examining her condition, she was referred to the general hospital. At this time, her condition was getting worse, yet I did all I could to get her to the hospital.

“With the assistance of her neighbours, we made it to Ifako General Hospital in Ogba. By the time they began to attend to her, she had passed on. I am not in any way responsible for her death.”

Ezekiel was arrested over the death of his facebook lover, Adekemi, who died during his visit to her apartment at 5, Folorunsho Street, off Ajayi Road, Ogba.

It was learned that the suspect’s wife who works with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, in Ibadan, was at the State Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, last Wednesday to see her husband.

Mass Grave Of Boko Haram Victims Discovered Near Damasak

At least 70 bodies have been found in a mass grave near the Nigerian town of Damasak, after troops from Chad and Nigeria liberated the locality from Boko Haram militants.

The mass grave of dozens of bodies, some beheaded, was found by Niger and Chad soldiers under a concrete bridge on one of the main roads leading out of Damasak. Azem Bermandoa Agouna, a colonel of the Chadian army, told the AFT news agency that he had seen "about 100 bodies spread under a bridge just outside the town. There are heads here and bodies there, the mass grave has become like a termite mound." Reuters says witnesses counted some 70 corpses.

It’s suggested that the massacre happened some time ago as some of the bodies were severely decomposed, while others were partially mummified by the dry desert air. The colonel said the atrocity might have occurred two months ago and added: "This is the work of Boko Haram."

The imam of the town was also found among the dead people. Witnesses say there could still be more bodies, as the smell of decomposition around the town is quite strong.

The grave was found after Niger and Chad troops recaptured Damasak in an intensive ground and air offensive launched last Saturday.

When Boko Haram gained control over Damasak in November, its militants killed about 50 residents and forced another 3,000 to leave the town, according to the UN's High Commissioner for Refugees.

This year Chad, Niger and Cameroon have united to destroy Boko Haram, because Nigeria had failed for years to do this independently. The operation was called "Mai Dounama", after the name of a 13th-century emperor of Borno province in northern Nigeria.

The country has announced major recent gains achieved with the help of its coalition partners. Two of the three worst hit states - Yobe and Adamawa – have been declared “cleared,” and the last one, Borno, is planned to be liberated “within a month.”

Some 36 localities, including major towns such as Bama and Dikwa, have been recaptured, with just three said to be still in rebel hands.

The events are taking place ahead of presidential elections scheduled for March 28 in Nigeria, Africa’s most populated country and biggest economy. Incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan has been slammed for his government's failure to stop the violence.

Over the last six years, Boko Haram has killed more than 13,000 people in their aim to establish an Islamic caliphate in northeast Nigeria. Their actions initially began as a campaign against Western education.

Divine Message! Guru Maharaji Reveals Who Will Win The Presidential Election

The spiritual leader of One Love Family, Sat Guru Maharaji has revealed who will win the forthcoming presidential election.

Guru Maharaji Ji, in a bid to forewarn the All Progressives Congress, has advised the party and its presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), to forget Nigeria's presidency.

"There is no vacancy for Buhari at Aso Rock," he declared in a statement on Sunday. Guru Maharaj Ji continued by saying, "President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is the verifiable divine choice of the forthcoming presidential election. As the Living Perfect Master of creation in whose hands the fate of Nigerian project lies spiritually, I declare divinity’s decision to return Jonathan to Aso Rock over Muhammadu Buhari.

"I had publicly and sufficiently advised Buhari against nursing the ambition to rule Nigeria again. Superior forces are actually in-charge of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I am at the helm of these great and unseen primordial powers of creation.

"My commitment to ensuring that Buhari and his fellow Anglo-American proxies do not deflect Nigeria off its path of gradual transition to authentic sovereignty, sustainable unity and real prosperity is sacrosanct. Nigeria is no longer to be ruled by feudal agents of Western neo-colonial power and Arab imperialists," Guru added.

The spiritual leader called on all lovers of freedom, fairness and human dignity in Nigeria to vote for President Jonathan, saying, "He is an authentic component of Nigeria's divinely graphed transition to greatness. His return to Aso Rock will further secure Nigeria from being re-enslaved by those who insist they were born to rule."

9 Reasons Why Curvy Women Are Best In Bed

$

Now women with natural curves can rest easy in the knowledge they are better in bed than their size-zero counterparts. And that's a fact. Curvy women have been making a comeback on the catwalk and new research reveals that having more meat on your bones doesn't just look great, it actually makes you better in bed.

A female editor Katy Horwood from Metro.co.uk made a list of reasons why curvy women are great in bed:

1. It's a scientific fact

Scientific research proves that men are genetically wired to be sxually attracted to a woman with curves. Men rate the sxiest women as those who have a waist which is 60% of their hip size. Guys love our hourglass figure  – not least of all in the bedroom.

2. Confidence

Having bØØbs and a backside, a bit of cellulite or something to grab hold of is not exclusively what makes a curvy woman sxy – it's knowing how to rock it that matters. Beauty has nothing to do with size and everything to do with confidence. And confidence has everything to do with amazing sx.

3. A healthy appetite

Nothing is sxier than a woman who knows how to indulge – she wants the cake she eats it, she wants the wine she drinks it, she wants the orgasm, prepare yourself, no one’s leaving this room until …

4. Life's too short to go gluten-free
Or you could date the girl who refuses to swallow (extra calories), won't eat dessert and spends the post-sx cuddle trying to convert you to a diet.

5. BØØbs

Well, not all curvy girls are blessed with big bØØbs, but the chances do sway slightly more in their favour.

6. Búms

According to a study by Oxford University, big bútts result in healthy children because of the high amount of Omega 3 fatty acids they store – so if you thought it was the PVC dress stretched over Kim Kardashian's booty getting you hot, think again. It's your subconscious evolutionary way of ensuring healthy kids.

7. Let's focus on the important things…

They don't care about fitting into a pair of skinny jeans and instead spend their time on fun things like the reverse cow girl and multiple orgasms.

8. Fewer bruises

Their soft womanly curves are the perfect place to rest your weary, post-shagging head.

9. Curvy girls were the original supermodels

Take a walk through an art gallery and you'll see that curvy girls have long been associated with beauty and sx appeal. Thousands of years of history can't be wrong.

Why You Don't See Me In Many Movies These Days - Ramsey Nouah

The seasoned actor Ramsey Nouah has been relatively scarce on the movie scene and in a recent interview with CNN's African Voices, he explains the reason for this absence.

Ramsey said the reason why he has been scarce in movies is because he is "spearheading the new Nollywood".

He says he no longer wants to be doing "cheap movies" that people could already tell the end from the beginning; "I am spearheading the "New Nollywood," so it's more of getting a good production out and getting a good production out is quite capital intensive.

"You need investors and you need to explain to the investors and let them know what they're going to benefit if they do get involved. So it's a long thing, unlike how we just used to do cheap movies and it was like quick — people could actually tell most of our stories from the beginning, they could tell the end already.

"I want that to change, hence I don't do too many of them movies anymore, but the cinema movies are now coming out and when that starts to come out then it would give room to people getting more from the movies."

He also said would we be seeing him with his popular onscreen lover, Genevieve Nnaji, who he starred with in various romantic movies including Power of Love, Cross, Camouflage, Butterfly, Break Up, Fugitive and Honey, among others.

To that he said; "Yes, yes my pair, my partner — of course, I will, some time hopefully soon, we're looking forward to working on another very good blockbuster sometime in the future".

Boko Haram Abducts Over 400 Women & Children In Damasak

Residents of the recently recaptured Damasak town in Borno State have said that Boko Haram militants have abducted more than 400 women and children from the town, Reuters news agency reports.

Damasak, which was freed this month by troops from Niger and Chad, has again suffered an invasion and kidnapping of women and children by the terrorists.

"They took 506 young women and children (in Damasak); they killed about 50 of them before leaving. We don't know if they killed others after leaving, but they took the rest with them," a resident simply identified as Malam Ali told the agency.

"My wife and three of my daughters were among those seized; two of them were supposed to get married this year. Boko Haram said they are slaves, so they are taking them because they belong to them," he said.

"We've seen the worst possible things you can imagine; after a certain point there was no point in trying to leave. They killed all our friends, our family members, so we just submitted ourselves to God."

A 40-year-old resident who gave her name as Fana said the insurgent's had rounded up captives in the main mosque before taking them out of town. She said she saved her two children by hiding them in her house.

Troops from Niger and Chad last week found the bodies of at least 70 people in an apparent execution site under a bridge leading out of Damasak, where the streets remain strewn with debris and burnt-out cars after the fighting to liberate the town.

Nigerian, Chadian and Niger forces have driven militants out of a string of towns in simultaneous offensives over the past month.

According to Reuters, Niger troops distributed food yesterday to a handful of residents who remained in Damasak. A few others returned to check their houses but left for the bush again.

Revealed: Why Buhari Openly Cried For Nigeria

$
0
0
The former national vice-chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, Alhaji Razaq Muse has talked about the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.

Alhaji Razaq Muse in a new interview with Punch talked about the coming Saturday elections and why Buhari, who was the CPC's presidential candidate in the 2011 election, wept openly after his loss.

PDP says Buhari will Islamise Nigeria. What can you say about that?

This is not possible because even during his time as the military Head of State, the Supreme Military Council was made up of Christians and Muslims. Now we are in a democratic system and have both federal and state legislative bodies. And you know, for you to Islamise Nigeria, they must get two thirds of the National Assembly and state houses of assembly to agree to it so how can he Islamise Nigeria? It is all cock and bull story.

Buhari, I can tell you without mincing words, vowed in 2011 that he would not contest again. I was there beside him when he shed tears. He did that because he felt that despite his desire to bring about change in this country, people could not see it. At that time, he was trying to have an alliance with the then Action Congress of Nigeria but that alliance collapsed three days before the elections. But today, it was the people that called him saying, “General, you are still alive and healthy, come on board.”

It is only him that does not have any skeleton in his cupboard. He is ready to lead by example and can deliver votes. I was the National Vice Chairman of the CPC and he was able to deliver over 12 million votes despite the late registration of the party. So, someone like that, who is still relevant in the North, will deliver more votes. So, I don’t see how he will lose, especially with the collaboration of the South-West. I don’t see how Jonathan can win without rigging the elections.

Since your party merged with other parties to form the All Progressives Congress, how have things been?

I was involved in the merger and I had to make some sacrifices. The Peoples Democratic Party thought it would not work but because there is a need for change and God was in charge, to their disappointment, everything went smoothly. Even when they thought the APC presidential primary would degenerate into crisis, they were proved wrong again and Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) won.

President Goodluck Jonathan has been visiting Lagos in recent times. Don’t you think all the endorsements he has been getting can give him the upper hand?

You see, ironically, I think the PDP and the presidency are worsening their own chances and increasing the people’s resolve for change. No matter the amount of lobbying and money being given, people have made up their minds that they want a change.

The PDP-led Federal Government has failed. Look at power for instance; they keep shifting the targets. They will tell you that by December, we shall have 10,000 megawatts of electricity and then by December, they will shift the target again. Now, they are saying in another two years, we will have constant power supply. Look at the oil sector; is it not an absurdity that up till now, we cannot boast of refining crude oil let alone exporting it? It is a shame. We need a good leader that will lead by example, a leader that can face corruption. Once that is done, there will be more jobs and a lower level of insecurity.

Another thing you should know about the South-West is that we vote based on performance. The likes of Femi Fani-Kayode and Governor Ayodele Fayose are just distractions. I feel most of them are scared. Fayose, even as a governor, still has a case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission but because he is a governor, he has immunity. Such a person can never want Buhari to become President because Buhari is the kind of person that can push for the removal of immunity and of course, you know what that means.

Fani-Kayode was still in court just about two weeks ago. So, Jonathan’s visits to the South-West are of no consequence. Who are the people that will vote for Jonathan? Is it the barber that has to buy fuel into his generator to work that will vote continuation for another four years of hopelessness?

In Lagos State, which has the highest number of registered voters, the PDP seems united for the first time. Don’t you think the APC can lose its grip on the state?

Alhaji Razaq Muse.
The PDP is only united when it is time to share money. It is not only in Lagos. Most of the PDP people in Lagos know that they cannot deliver for Jonathan but are only trying to deceive him. Our governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode, is a tested member of the party and he is an all-rounder.

He graduated at the age of 21 and then became a chartered accountant at the age of 24. He has a Master’s degree and served Lagos in various capacities for 27 years. Some say he had a problem with Governor Babatunde Fashola but this is not true because he has a letter of commendation from Fashola. He helped Lagos to survive when former President Olusegun Obasanjo seized Lagos funds. If not for him and his experience in accounting and his ability to devise ways to increase the state’s income and make Lagos virtually self-sufficient, Lagos would have been crippled. Under him Lagos will excel and he will be able to consolidate the achievements of Fashola.

But there is still this controversy over the use of card readers….

By the Federal Government’s procurement of card readers, the nation has spent so much money to block one of the areas of rigging elections which is the accreditation stage where ghost voters come and then ballot boxes are stuffed. So, for the PDP to oppose it means there is an ulterior motive. I think the Independent National Electoral Commission is on track and it will produce the desired result.

Benny Hinn Suffers Heart Attack. Your Prayers Are Needed

The family of Benny Hinn is asking for prayers after the popular televangelist was hospitalized on Friday upon returning from a trip to Brazil which resulted in a heart attack.

Although many reports are swirling about what happened to the 62-year-old pastor, a letter written by his daughter offers the full explanation and the events that led to her father's hospitalization. Read it below...

My dad, Pastor Benny Hinn, asked me to send you a quick message from the family, so that you could hear it straight from me. He asked me to share, from the depths of his heart, how much he appreciates your outpouring of love and support, and for the best gift you can give: your prayers. He also asked me to convey to you how much he loves each of you and thanks you for all you’re doing for the ministry and for the kingdom.

My dad often shares how he feels genuinely strengthened and encouraged by the prayers of his partners. And on behalf of the family, I can tell you that it has been such a comfort to us—especially in the last several days.

Recently he returned to California after ministering to crowds of over 100,000 people in Brazil, including over 2,000 pastors and leaders from all over South America. It was truly a remarkable nation-shaking event. And while it was a rewarding journey, after he arrived home he suddenly began battling fatigue and shortness of breath. For those of you who know my Dad, you know that he never stops; so when he spent over a week in bed, we knew something was wrong. I flew to California to be with him and insisted that he see a doctor. On Friday, he consulted with his local physician and was admitted to the hospital, where he was treated for lack of oxygen in his cardiovascular system.

Once he got in the hospital he experienced almost immediate relief and has continued to grow stronger each day. At this moment, his physicians are conducting thorough tests, the results of which have been very positive. He is alert and in good spirits, and we expect he will be released later this week.

By God’s grace and with the help of your prayers, we are told to expect a complete recovery. More importantly, his doctors are assuring him that within a very short time he will be on his feet ministering around the world again, just as he has for over 40 years.

We’ve seen God’s hand on my dad throughout this time of recovery, and it has encouraged and assured us that He continues to have great plans for my dad and Benny Hinn Ministries.

On behalf of my mom, Suzanne, and our entire family, I offer our thanks for the outpouring of love and prayers from our partners and friends. And we ask that you continue in prayer for his full and speedy recovery. We know we could not do this without you.

His loving daughter,

Jessica Hinn Koulianos.

Angelina Jolie Explains Why She's Removed Her Ovaries & Fallopian Tubes

Two years after having both breasts removed via double mastectomy, American actress and film maker Angelina Jolie has also had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed.

Writing in The New York Times yesterday, the 39-year-old explains that two years ago a blood test revealed that she carried a mutation in the BRCA1 gene, which gave her an estimated 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer.

Having lost her mother, grandmother and aunt to cancer, the mother of six made the choice to have a preventive double mastectomy.

Jolie Pitt wrote about this choice at the time as she wanted other women at risk to know about the options. She also promised to follow up with any information that could be useful, including about her next preventive surgery, namely the removal of her ovaries and fallopian tubes.

She writes:

I had been planning this for some time. It is a less complex surgery than the mastectomy, but its effects are more severe. It puts a woman into forced menopause. So I was readying myself physically and emotionally, discussing options with doctors, researching alternative medicine, and mapping my hormones for estrogen or progesterone replacement. But I felt I still had months to make the date.

Then two weeks ago I got a call from my doctor with blood-test results. “Your CA-125 is normal,” he said. I breathed a sigh of relief. That test measures the amount of the protein CA-125 in the blood, and is used to monitor ovarian cancer. I have it every year because of my family history.

But that wasn’t all. He went on. “There are a number of inflammatory markers that are elevated, and taken together they could be a sign of early cancer.” I took a pause. “CA-125 has a 50 to 75 percent chance of missing ovarian cancer at early stages,” he said. He wanted me to see the surgeon immediately to check my ovaries.

I went through what I imagine thousands of other women have felt. I told myself to stay calm, to be strong, and that I had no reason to think I wouldn’t live to see my children grow up and to meet my grandchildren.

I called my husband in France, who was on a plane within hours. The beautiful thing about such moments in life is that there is so much clarity. You know what you live for and what matters. It is polarizing, and it is peaceful.

Jolie Pitt went to see the surgeon the same day for the necessary tests, but had to wait five days for the results.

The PET/CT scan came back clear, and the tumour test was negative.

She explains that while there was still a chance of early stage cancer, that was minor compared with a full-blown tumour.

To my relief, I still had the option of removing my ovaries and fallopian tubes and I chose to do it. I did not do this solely because I carry the BRCA1 gene mutation, and I want other women to hear this. A positive BRCA test does not mean a leap to surgery. I have spoken to many doctors, surgeons and naturopaths. There are other options. Some women take birth control pills or rely on alternative medicines combined with frequent checks. There is more than one way to deal with any health issue. The most important thing is to learn about the options and choose what is right for you personally.

Last week Jolie Pitt underwent a laparoscopic bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy which revealed a small benign tumor on one ovary, but no signs of cancer in any of the tissues.

It is not possible to remove all risk, and the fact is I remain prone to cancer. I will look for natural ways to strengthen my immune system. I feel feminine, and grounded in the choices I am making for myself and my family. I know my children will never have to say, “Mom died of ovarian cancer.”

Regardless of the hormone replacements I’m taking, I am now in menopause. I will not be able to have any more children, and I expect some physical changes. But I feel at ease with whatever will come, not because I am strong but because this is a part of life. It is nothing to be feared.

I feel deeply for women for whom this moment comes very early in life, before they have had their children. Their situation is far harder than mine. I inquired and found out that there are options for women to remove their fallopian tubes but keep their ovaries, and so retain the ability to bear children and not go into menopause. I hope they can be aware of that.

It is not easy to make these decisions. But it is possible to take control and tackle head-on any health issue. You can seek advice, learn about the options and make choices that are right for you. Knowledge is power.

Ghanaian actresses, Yvonne Nelson has revealed that she foresaw, in a dream, the Germanwings plane crash that happened yesterday.

She says, "I had a dream on Wednesday…. Was too heavy for me so I told my best friends @teamparies @naqkim and @chaseforeva. I tweeted the names of the airlines for prayers and @chaseforeva told me to take it down! Almost a week after Lufthansa crashes. Pls pray for them. Pls…"

An Airbus operated by Lufthansa's Germanwings budget airline crashed into a mountainside in the French Alps on Tuesday (March 24), killing all 150 people on board.

Germanwings confirmed its flight 4U 9525 from Barcelona to Duesseldorf went down with 144 passengers and six crew on board.

One of the plane's black box recorders has been found at the crash site, about 100 km (65 miles) north of the Riviera city of Nice, and will be examined immediately, France's interior minister said.

The White House said the crash did not appear to have been caused by a terrorist attack, while Lufthansa said it was working on the assumption that the tragedy had been an accident, adding that any other theory would be speculation.

It looks like Yvonne Nelson should start taking her dreams seriously. See screenshots of the Whatsapp chats she shared on social media below..
